Recently, the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce honoured CitruSolution Carpet Cleaning of Brevard by bestowing upon them the title of "Business Champion of the Month."

Stuart and Janice Smith, who live in Cocoa Beach, are the owners of the business.

CitruSolution Carpet Cleaning Business was honoured by Brevard County Schools in May for being selected as the "Partner of the Year" for Riverview Elementary School, which is located in Titusville. Connor Smith, the Smiths' son, volunteered on numerous days as an outing escort and student mentor. He also helped build the first "community garden" at the school to educate the students about gardening and healthy eating habits. The company provided financial support for the projects and outings.

SATELLITE BEACH

The Novel Engineering Corporation has acquired the company.

Novel Engineering just recently made the announcement that it had come to an agreement to purchase Riverside Technical Services in a cash transaction that was not disclosed.

The combined businesses, which will have their headquarters located in Satellite Beach, will have a revenue of approximately $9 million and approximately 100 employees across the country, with 75 of those employees holding engineering positions.

Misty Marot, president and chief executive officer of Novel, described the acquisition of Riverside as having a transformative effect on the company. "The combination of the highly complementary core expertise of the two companies results in the creation of a company that is more capable of competing on a larger scale." Riverside has decades of success in the technical staffing market, and its workforce is dedicated to providing customers with innovative and cost-effective solutions for some of their most complex technical staffing challenges. We are expanding our operations in this market, where Riverside already has a strong presence.

Novel Engineering is a service provider for the software and electronic industries that offers engineering-related assistance.
